How Is a Breast Augmentation With Lift Performed?
Dr. Walters commonly performs combination breast surgery at the AAAHC-accredited Houma Outpatient Surgery Center as an outpatient procedure. You will be under general anesthesia and comfortably asleep for the duration of the surgery. In most cases, the lift portion of the surgery is done after a temporary sizer is placed or after the breasts are injected with fat. The excess skin is eliminated, and the soft tissue is smoothed. The nipple and areola are positioned higher on the breast if desired.

What Is Recovery Like After a Breast Lift With Implants?
The recovery time frame for augmentation with a lift will differ for everyone; however, you will probably be well enough to return to your everyday activities in about 7 days. You should refrain from exercise and strenuous activities for at least 4 weeks. After your surgery, there will also be mild to moderate swelling that may last for 2 to 3 weeks. Your implants will settle into their final position after several months, revealing your final results.
